Hello,
I'm George Jameson, a retirement-focused financial planner and investment manager. After beginning my career at Morgan Stanley and a large independent advisory firm, I founded Capital Wealth Group LLC with the aim of offering tax-efficient retirement planning and evidence-based investment management. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and fiduciary, I'm obligated to act in my clients' best interests at all times and do not sell financial products for commissions.
My ideal clients are those who are serious about retirement or already retired and need an expert to guide them. I work with clients in person in Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC, as well as virtually nationwide.

Why I Started My Own RIA Firm?
I wanted to create a different type of financial planning firm: one that was specialized, comprehensive, transparent, and affordable. Until, now this type of firm did not exist in my area.

We take the time to understand our clients' goals and objectives, so we can develop a tailored plan to help them achieve their goals. We understand that retirement planning is a long-term process, and our unique focus on this allows us to fill an important need in the market for fiduciary-based services that never charge commissions and offer flat, affordable fees. With our commitment to providing quality service and trustworthiness, we are dedicated to helping our clients prepare for their retirement and achieve financial freedom.
We provide a personalized approach, taking the time to understand our clients' goals and objectives before developing a tailored plan to achieve them. We understand that retirement planning is a long-term process and strive to provide the highest level of service and commitment to our clients.
I currently live in Columbia, SC with my wife Elizabeth, three kids, two dogs, and a cat. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing tennis and attending Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
